BBQ by the ocean: Seafood
Now that you have some ideas for heartier meals, let’s bring a bit of seaside freshness to your ultimate barbeque menu with superb grilled salmon.
Grilled salmon
Salmon is never far away when you’re talking about a great menu or recipe book. It’s a wonderful fish that can be eaten raw, steamed or even grilled. We’ll be focusing on that last one.
As always with most barbeque meals, we start off with an easy salmon marinade of lime juice, mustard, honey, olive oil, and various seasonings. Let the salmon sit in the marinade for about 20 minutes at room temperature before cooking it on medium-high heat.
Don’t forget to place the fillet skin-side up! After you flip it onto the other side, brush it with some more marinade and let it cook through. Let it rest for 3-5 minutes before serving it to your hungry and waiting for guests. With this grilled salmon, you’ll be capping off your ultimate barbeque menu with a perfect meal.
